This past Wednesday night, November 7th, the Painting & Decorating Foundation gave out its Finishing Touch Awards to honor and recognize significant project achievements. Bazan Painting Company received two first place awards.

One for Special Effects – Commercial Work, which was performed at the Wilson Residence dining room. The work was gold leaf simulation on the dining room ceiling and faux wood finishing on the painted wood trim to achieve a luxurious appearance while saving the customer a great deal of money.

The second, and perhaps even more significant, first place award was for the beautiful craftsmanship performed at the St. Pius V Catholic church. This was for Painting Interior – Commercial Category. This work consisted of a lot of plaster repair, multiple colors, and ornate brush and stencil work, truly renovating and refurbishing this beautiful church.

Why does Bazan Painting Company care about these awards? Of course, we all like to brag. But more importantly by entering such contests, it pushes us to be the best in our field, and we truly want to be at the top. While we know there are several good painting contractors out there, we strive to be the very best. In receiving these awards, and others in the past, it shows our workforce that we care, and helps them develop pride in their work.

Since 1996, Bazan Painting Company has received recognition for the work of our craftsman over thirty times. We are truly grateful and proud of the craftsmen that work with us.

Be safe and healthy,

Walter Bazan Jr.
