SPRING IS HERE… Let’s Celebrate Some Parks!
As a proud member of Missouri Park and Recreation Association, we wanted to spotlight some recent park projects!
PLUS, it’s National Park Week 2022, April 16th-24th!
National Park Week is a time to explore amazing places, discover stories of history and culture, help out, and learn more about a national park near you.
It’s not too late to get out there and enjoy your community park.
BAZAN Painting Co. frequently completes projects in parks, from swimming pools to playground equipment. In this picture above, we are just finishing painting the steel and fiberglass structures using specialty coatings in the playground called Collinsville Aqua Park, formerly Splash City.
While the craft of “painting” doesn’t come to mind first when you think of your local park, we specialize in “bringing to life” and reinvigorating faded facades of playgrounds and pools.
We provide background colors to the true colors of nature that we can’t compete with. But it sure is fun to provide a new life to well used playground equipment surrounded by nature.
Our history doing work in parks runs deep.
In years past, we clean and resealed a wooden bridge in historic Forest Park, surrounded by wildlife and nature. We had to build a screen, mesh-like tarp and float it in the pond under the bridge to catch the debris while we power washed and prepped the bridge.
Keeping nature intact and front of mind at parks is a high priority, and we will go the greatest extent to keep our parks pristine.
In a picture below, we resurfaced, sand blasted and coated a swimming pool for Wentzville Progress Park. It’s surrounded by nature and a beautiful park.
Parks provide community, family fun, play, and comradry. These are all attributes we esteem at BAZAN Painting Co. And if we make someone’s day a little brighter at a park this spring, even better.
